joana wow leveling guide

Everyone who played wow and at least googling something about wow such as guide and wow leveling guide should know a thing or two about Joana’s Guide. Joana is a female troll who played as hunter and level up from 1 to level 60 in only 4 day and 20 hours recorded. This is the recorded as the fastest level up time and she’s not only done it only in one server, but a bunch in other server too. You can check the server she played in her guide page. So far, this guide is considered as the best wow leveling guide, especially for horde. She also included full recorded video along with her guide. I also have tried using this guide for my priest and rogue, and I reach level 60 in 13 days and several hours and the other reach level 56 in 10 days until now. While there are a lot of free guide in the internet you can Google, but a pay guide is much better. Check out the guide.

DONT BUY SCAM GUIDE!

If you plan to buy any guide, please google around first to make sure that guide is legal, i mean not a scam guide. Asking in forum can be very efficient. This blog also list the top guide with ranking. Check out.

Horde Leveling Guide List

I tried to come up with many source of horde leveling guide for you all.

This one i highly recommended from wow-pro.com. Very detailed one. This guide got lot of positive comments from the readers. Which quest for you to pick and also have map included to guide your journey. This guide start from level 21, assumed before that you need to to your quest to level up.

Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Chapter I (21-31)
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Chapter II (31-40)
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Chapter III (40-51)
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide - Chapter IV (51-60)

Here the intro of the guide

Chapter I (21-30) - Journey from the Barrens to the Thousand Needles

Introduction

This guide starts at level 21. However I strongly recommend you follow Hosho's Barrens leveling guide as soon as you hit level 13. That's one level higher than what Hosho recommends in his guide, but I recommend you start it at level 13, it will be easier to do the difficult parts of his guide, and you should be level 21 at the end of his guide then, which is the level I want you to reach before you start with my guide. It is your task to reach level 13 on your own and it shouldn't be a problem, the main reason why I don't want to start a guide at level 1 is because:

  1. It's not really needed
  2. Depending on your race/class choice you will start from different areas so covering them all would be a mess.

This guide is optimized for FAST leveling with a minimum of grinding sessions. Quests are important, they give rewards and faction and are less boring than pure grinding, BUT sometimes some quests are really a time waste and we will be skipping those and replacing them by good grinding spots when it is necessary. Some people say that grinding is always faster than questing, this is true in theory when you don't know which quests to take and which to avoid, and what is the best order to do them. With this guide, questing will be very efficient and much better than pure grinding. Follow each instruction carefully and you will see for yourself. The quest choices and order to do them are optimal so that you run as few as possible while doing the most possible and then turning several quests at the same time. This guide will be very useful for both veteran and novice players. I try to keep the amount of information as short as possible. So even the guide itself is optimized for the minimum reading possible, to save time! Let's get started immediately then! Everything described in this guide can be done solo (besides when I say otherwise). You can of course follow this guide while duoing, grouping, it's not a problem, it works too.

Warlock Leveling Guide

Building a Successful Leveling Warlock

Many people who play the Warlock in the beginning think that the
most successful way to level is to put your DOTS (Damage Over Time Spell) on the target then fear and shadow bolt to death. Not only is this dangerous, but it is also very mana consuming and you will experience more downtime than you would using a common drain-tanking build. That is what we will be focusing on in this guide.

Note about Drain Tanking:
Few realize that Drain-Tanking is
nearly useless before level 30, due to the weakness of the lower
versions of the Drain Life spell. So for the first 19 levels just use the method of placing your DOTS on the target and shadow bolting to death.

Talents:
1-9: Do your lowbie quests. Should take 2-3 hours.

10-14: 5/5 Improved Corruption
15: 1/5 Demonic Embrace
16-18:
3/3 Improved Imp (For the instances you should be running right now)

19: 2/5 Demonic Embrace
20-22: Improved VW
23-25: 5/5
Demonic Embrace
26: 1/1 Fel Domination
27-29: 3/5 Fel Stamina

Level 29 Spec
Using the method during this stage

10-29: Stack all your DoTs on a mob, send in the VW, stack all
your DoTs on a second mob, and then wand the second mob to death.
Repeat until low health, and then bandage/Consume Shadows. Each level should take about an hour, moving towards an hour and a half as you get closer to 30. If they are taking longer, figure out what the problem is (mobs too far apart, mobs have too much life, too much downtime) and move to an area that solves it.

Respec #1 (Level 30)
30: Respec to:
Affliction Tree
5/5
Improved Corruption
5/5 Improved Drain Life
2/2 Improved Life
Tap
5/5 Fel Concentration
2/2 Nightfall
2/2 Grim Reach

31: 1/1 Siphon life
32-34: 3/5 Suppression
35-39: 5/5
Shadow Mastery
40: 1/1 Dark Pact
41-45: 5/5 Demonic Embrace

46-49: 4/5 Fel Intellect

Using the method during this stage

30-49: Drain Tank: Load the mob up on DoTs, send in the Succubus,
cast Drain Life while the mob beats on you, rinse and repeat. At
40-49 keep using this method but instead of Life Tapping, use Dark Pact. A good rule of thumb is, DP only if your pet is over 50% mana, because if they run out it will slow your fighting time down. The easiest way to do this is to turn off all autocast abilities on your Succubus, and remember to DPing during the fight (rather than after) as a good time-saver because your DoTs will help keep up the DPS.

Respec #2 (Level 50)
50: Respec to:
Afliction Tree
5/5 Improved Corruption
2/2 Improved Lifetap
3/5 Improved Drain Life
5/5 Fel Concentration
2/2 Grim Reach
2/2 Nightfall

1/1 Amplify Curse

Demonology Tree
5/5 Demonic Embrace
3/3 Improved Imp
3/3 Improved VW
3/3 Improved Succubus
1/1 Fel Domination
2/2 Master Summoner
3/5 Unholy Power
1/1 Demonic Sacrifice

51: 1/1 Siphon Life
52: 1/1 Curse of Exaustion
53-55: 3/4 Improved Curse of Exaustion
56-60: 5/5 Shadow Mastery

Using the method during this stage

50-59: The Drain Tanking gets even better now. By Demonic
Sacrificing your pet, you are able to regen even more life per fight, keeping up with increasing monster damage, while still 'Tapping up to full mana whenever you want because of the passive regen.

60: You are now specced SM/DS, which is generally accepted to be
best grinding spec. Do whatever killing you need to do, grind
factions etc., and then respec to your high-level build of choice.

How to level:
Grind and quest at the same time. Either look
for multiple quests that involve killing the same mobs, or look for multiple quests in the same areas. The more quests you can get done before running back to turn in, the faster your leveling will go. Also, remember to set your hearth to new places frequently. Every time you plan to level in a new place for more than an hour, set your hearth there, as the time saved by teleporting back to the nearest down instead of running is incredible.

Equipment Choice:
During early levels it is best to focus on
+sta, and at around 35 or so to switch to +shadow or +dmg. If you are specced into affliction and are draintanking, +dmg will be vastly superior to +sta. You kill the mobs much faster for the same mana, and heal yourself that much faster.

Up until about level 40 you should stack +sta and 'of the
Eagle' gear. At 30, start looking for Shadoweave gear, and
around 40 switch into it. Full Shadoweave can be made by tailors, and will give a bonus of +114 shadow damage, along with some Int and Sta, and can be equipped at level 44.

In general, while using Dark Pact we stack as much +damage gear as possible, and while using Demonic Sacrifice, we stack as much +sta gear as possible, while keeping a minimum of +100 dmg.

We also go against using a staff, a good dagger/sword and an
offhand in my opinion is way better than a staff. Think about it,
with a staff you get some nice stats, occasionally an effect. With a dagger/sword and an offhand, you get stats on the weapon and sometimes an effect, AND on the offhand you can get ADDITIONAL stats AND another effect. Far superior.

Wow Alliance Leveling Guide

This guide pretty much kicks ass.I will show you were to grind and
quest from levels 1-40 and from 55-70.

Starting area (darnassus, elwynn, dun morogh, azuremyst isle)Do LOTS of questing in these areas, dont even grind at all. This should get you to level 10-12. The best starting place is dun morogh.

Advanced area (westfall, bloodmyst isle, darkshore) In these areas you should quest about 65-80% and grind the rest. This should get you to level 17-20. Bloodmyst isle is the best place of all these.

Duskwood and redridge mountains is the best place for levels 19-22. Here do about half grinding and half questing. Duskwood is the better place to get levels of these two places but they're both nice places. After you hit level 22 head over to stormwind and get some new weapons and armor, also pick up a one gathering profesion and one crafting profesion that are related to each other (examples: herbalism and alchemy, blacksmithing and mining, tailoring and enchanting, skinning and leatherworking)

Ashenvale and the wetlands are good places to get from 22-25. This is where grinding takes over. Grind a lot and quest as much as you can, as there aren't many quests in these places, they will get you a ton of experince though.

Hillsbrad foothills and deadwind pass are the only places to go to get to level 28. There aren't many quests here so you have to grind. While you're at these places remember to skin things and mine ore and collect herbs for your crafting profesion. Head to stormwind once you hit level 28 and get some twink shit 'cause you're gonna need it.

Stranglethorn vale is a dangerous place for a badly geared character so if you dont have good items go to arathi highlands. In STV grind on tigers and gorrilas or whatever you find. You will probably get ganked a few times but it doesnt do 10% damage to your items, just find your corpse and respawn. Arathi highlands is a little bit of quest but mostly grinding. You should get to levels 31 or 32.

Go to thousand needles now. Grind and quest here until you're level 34.

Dustwallow marsh is the place to now. Grind on whatever you find. If you like to piss the horde off go to the barrens and kill horde NPC's.You can get to level 40 easily here. Here is the end of the 1-40 guide and now is the 55-70 guide. Hope you enjoy it!

Eastern plaugelands and western plauglands are the place to go now. I think the EP is easier at a low level so go there first till youre level 57. Go to WP now till you're level 59. Quest a lot here and grind some to.

Winterspring is the place to go now. There is a major goblin town there so you can pick up quite a few quests there and just kill stuff there until you're half way to level 61. Now the outland guide comes into play. You will need the expansion for this.

Hellfire penninsula is where you go now. Quest until youre level 62.

Zangamarsh is where to quest now. Get to halfway between 63 and 64 and go to tekkor forest.

Tekkor forest is the place to ace. Quest and grind to level 66. Remeber, get ores, herbs, and hides so you can level up your professions.

Find some monsters to grind on that are easy to kill and get to level 68.

Shadowmoon valley is your final destination! Quest and grind till you are level 70. Get your flying mount now and do some end-game dungeons with some friends. I like the swift green gryphon the best.

TIPS

1.Make a level one alt that sits around stormwind or ironforge that handles all your auction house needs and sells your stuff.

2.If you can't afford stuff I recommend buying the World of Warcraft Cash Creating Guide. I can make 100-150 gold with this per hour easily at level 70.You can still make 50 gold an hour at level one with this guide.

3.You can solo this whole guide so don't get in a group unless there is a lot of people where you're going.

------------------------- Author -------------------------

I have a level 70 paladin,70 mage,70 hunter,70 priest,70 druid,70 warrior,70 warlock,70 rogue and 68 shaman on the Haomarush realm. I have 13458 gold to be excact.

Scarlet Monestary - Undercity:
Scarlet Monastery - all
If you aren't an enchater don't go there as you will earn only 1/10 of the money that you can get with your enchating skill.

You can do whole SM within an hour and get 50-100g(depends of drops, AH prizes and if your stuff buys well). I had 300g in 6-7 hours of farming.

You must do all the bosses even cathedral which will take about 30 mins to clear. If you want you can skip the Commander and do only the undead.

Graveyard:
In the torture room there is a chest which is often open. Don't take it when you come. Go and kill the undead boss first. For this run in the crypt and avoid aggroing mobs outside. When you enter the crypt you will aggro some undeads so FD in the boss room. Send your pet and start nuking the boss. He drops shoulders which are dissed and sometimes a blue orb (BoP) which is dissed too. He can also drop a blue mace that you can sell for 5-10g or more depending on your server. There are sometimes rare bosses in graveyard but I'm not sure if they exist cuz I never saw them. On your way back to the exit send your pet to the group near the chest (make sure it's not locked) and open it. Get out and the graveyard is done.
*This is done in less than 5 mins*

Armory:
You only kill Herod in there and eventualy get a chest if it isn't locked. In the armory you will have to use only once FD if all goes well. Before you enter the yard there are 2 guards that you aggro so when you pass them its good to FD. When you enter the armory there are patrolng mages that you must avoid. Stick to the walls and walk between the groups. In the corridor with Herod's door you don't need to kill anything. Just open the door and enter. To fight Herod put a imollation trap, mark him put AotH and trueshot aura if you have one. If you are a BM hunter this fight won't be hard but for other specs this can be hard and your pet have chances to die. Let your pet get some aggro, then start with aimed and nuke him. Kite him using the stairs and FD when you start getting too much dmg. Repeat this until he's dead. Loot him quickly and put and explosive trap. If you're a NE hunter shadowmelt and out your pet to stealth if you don't have enough mana. After the students are dead from the explosion loot them and get out.
*This is done in less than 5 mins*

Library:
You'll have to use much FD and some frost trap. I can't tell you the exact location to use FD but you will find them. Just keep in mind not to aggro to much guys on you and then having a resist on your FD. There are several chests in library check if they aren't locked before you go to open them. When you get to the final room before Doan kill the 2 monks guarding the entrace. When you kill them go to Doan. He's is easy and you resist almost all of his spell except maybe the blast wave he casts. He drops Staff and Shoulders or Robe + Dagger which are both dissed. On the way out get the chest you can. You can also try Loksey and his dogs. But if you aren't a Beast Master your pet has a big chances to die which will lead to your death.
*This part should take you around 10 mins*

Cathedral:
The part isn't impossible but it takes some time. You will have to clear everything before going to the boss. Remember to slow the mobs when they start running away or they can drag adds. Be aware of abbots which heal too many times. Interupt them when they start (imp concusive, scatter ot intimidation). Also try to freeze Centurions which hit hard and have high armor. When you clear all kill the undead guy. For the Commander lay an imo trap and send your pet. Let it get some aggro then start shooting the guy. Don't waist your mana or special abilities agianst him for the moment. If he gets on you use FD. When he dies his gf will come to rez him. When you get her to +/- 50% she will put you to sleep and rez him. When the Commander is rezzed he will heal her to full health. Send your pet on the commander and use BW if you are a beast master. When you finish the Commander focus on Whitemane. If all goes well your pet will be alive and you too:) Loot them both and dis the items.

You will also get some greenies which are BoE. Decide if you want to put them on AH, sell them to vendors or dis them. Remember that you don't need to deposit money for enchating stuff so put them on a 24h duration. You will get 3-6 gold from killing the guys and much more from the shards, essences and dusts. Put them on low prices to make sure they are bought:)

Thinks that might help you:
Shadowmelt: while you wait for the FD (NE hunter)
Holy protection potions: For the holy dmg
Cat as pet: The prowl ability is really usefull
Mage: For food and water. (be nice to him when you ask)
Mark of Resolution: Trinket which absorb dmg.

Also empty your bags and put what you can in the bank and get your Scarlet key. In few days you'll have enough money for what you want:)

First Aid 1-375 Guide

If you don't have used First Aid yet - then get on with it - because it can heal 3800 HP over 8 sec.

Before I start, you need to realize this is not a 1-70 leveling guide, it's just a guide that will help you get your first aid up quick, if you need a leveling guide, the best ones are: Joana's 1-70 Horde leveling Guide for horde, and Brian's 1-70 Alliance leveling guide for alliance.

Before you go to Hammerfall, make sure you have at least 75 x Mageweave and 70 x Runecloth as this will save you coming back to see the Doctor.

You will have special triage bandages (add them to your action bar/hot key) which should be applied to Critically injured, then Badly injured, and then injured. Critical patients will often die before you finish bandaging them, so let them die unless you can start right after they spawn. Once you started treating a patient, finish treating that patient, before moving on to another patient. You should select your next patient before your are finished with the first one, then all you have to do is hit you hot key to start the next one. Directions for finding Deneb Walker

Directions provided by Belasarius on Bloodhoof, who managed to describe it perfectly.

Walk into Stromguard and keep turning right. It's in the Alliance part of the keep so you should not have to fight. Once you go over a small bridge the guy who sells the book for lvl 150-225 is standing under a lamp post in an area surrounded by plants.

Additional directions from Sadvsadv on Turalyon

When you enter Stromgarde Keep, take 4 turns to the right. There he is and you are only going over Alliance territory.

Hopefully, you should all be able to find him now :)
ALSO REMEMBER TO BUY ALL THREE BOOKS WHILE YOUR THERE!!
